A Love Poem for My Wife

    by Bryan ( USA )

    My Darling,
You are my wife, the love of my life and my hero. I never want to take you, or the fact that you make everything better, for granted. Life and kids sometimes get in the way but that doesn’t mean I don’t cherish you every day. I love the kids, our family and our life but I’ve decided there is always room for more romance. So today I bring you this…

    A Love Poem For Debs

I don’t tell you I love you enough
Or send you roses and all that stuff
Sometimes life gets in the way
But you should hear that I think it every day.

Sometimes I figure you already know it
But just in case, I want to show it.
Sit right there and give me your ear
These are things I need you to hear.

You walked in my life and made me smile
And you smiled back, though it took awhile.
I’d been waiting for you to brighten my life
And you did just that when you became my wife.

Here’s the way I’d like to celebrate
An evening out is worth the wait.
First up a dinner by candlelight
Soft music sets the tone for our night.

The wine is dry, the air is sweet
With rose petals scattered near your feet.
Our date’s not over, the kids have a sitter
When it comes to romance, I am no quitter.

Let’s hit the dance floor and shake our booty
My goofy moves upstaged by your beauty.
When the band stops playing and the bar closes down,
We go for a moonlight walk around town.

When I look in your eyes I want you to know
How much I love you and that you’re my hero,
If I don’t show it or say it enough
I promise to do so, it’s not that tough.

I love you deeply, forever and always.

    A Love Poem to Andrei

    Anonymous

In that faraway western city beside two rivers,
Where the Volga and Samara melt into one
There, like a river nymph, you were born among the waves
    —-
    Andrei, my darling
    You enter a room
    Much in the way that
    The sun breaks over the
    Horizon
    —-
Your gaze is the barren winter
Hardened by all that you’ve suffered
But your smile is the hope of spring, and the promise of something better thereafter
    —–

Does she love you, and do you love her? If the answer is yes, then I shall be content. My love, I will rejoice.

My heart shall be broken, but how can I despair if I know
That my Andrei loves and is loved in return?

  • My Forbidden Love

    My Forbidden Love

    by Gemulepa (Australia)

My Forbidden Love: I think I’m in love with you and it’s been driving me crazy. I never wanted to feel this way about you but I just do and you know what..? I don’t regret it one bit. I really don’t, if anything I love that I fell for you and no one else.

You are such a great guy who deserves so much more than I could ever offer you which is why I’ve decided to keep these feelings hidden within myself.

I know that it is going hurt and kill me so much but I couldn’t bare living with myself if I only brought misery and pain into your life. So cheers to all the memories and feelings you’ve given me to cherish for the rest of my lonely and unpredictable days.

Even if I can’t have you, hold you or love you, just watching you become a better person each day and living your life to the fullest is enough for me.

I really wish you all the best in the future with whomever you may share that future with. I pray she’ll be as caring and loving as you have shown me a person can be. May she complete you and bring all the joy and happiness into your life that you truly deserve.

I had never been certain about anything in my life until I met you and you showed me the meaning, expression, and feeling of true love. It’s what other’s had been striving endlessly to put into stories, music and art but never succeeding was shown to me through your warmth, smile, words, actions and embrace.

    So Thank You.

I can’t promise to remember every second and moment I’ve spent with you but I most certainly won’t ever forget how you made me feel.

I Love You… but that shall remain silent within this broken heart of mine till death do I and this unrequited love part.
