Dear Love of My Heart,
I remember the day we first met like it was yesterday. I had no idea at the time that you would become such an important part of my life or my son Jeremy’s. I treasure the day you first met him and the rest of my family.
Never did I ever think we would be together long term and grow so close. Never, ever did I think I would find such a pure and true love. I need to tell you that for me, this is the greatest love of all.
These past twelve months have meant more than you can ever imagine. I cherish the many memories I now have. From that first kiss that made me glow inside, to our first date, to us expressing our private and personal worries to each other. It feels like a dream, too good to be true.
That kiss, oh that kiss. I will never forget that first kiss. As soon as our lips touched, I began to feel a warmth inside that I’d never experienced before. I was bowled over by a deep sense of love and it has only gotten deeper and deeper since then.
I love you. I love us. I love the little things we share.
I love taking pictures of you when I think you’re sleeping and then you flash a smile and surprise me just as I’m about to take the shot. I love how you touch me and whisper softly in my ear. I love holding hands with you while window shopping.
I love cooking for you, watching you eat and seeing you smile as you enjoy the food. I love how I blush and smile when you call me adorable. I love that you call me adorable.
I love how you play with Jeremy and teach him about life. I miss you whenever you aren’t around longing always to make more memories together.
You have made me a better person and pushed me to do so many things I never would do. It’s just such a joy to have you in my life. In our lives.
So, I’m telling you in front of the whole world that I LOVE YOU. I want you to be a part of my life forever and always and I will love and care for you forever and always.
