I fell in love with you ,
Not because you brought me chocolates, flowers or teddy bears.
I fell in love with you,
because you used to wish me good mornings,
Before using your phone.

I fell in love with you,
Because you kissed my forehead everyday,
Before even you think about others.

I fell in love with you,
Because you used to love me everyday,
For good or bad.

I fell in love with you,
Because you used to listen to my talks,
No matter how boring they were.

I fell in love with you,
Because you understood me,
Before I understood myself.

I fell in love with you,
Because You LISTENED to me,
Not just saying only what you had to say.

I fell in love with you,
Because you asked me everyday about my day.

I fell in love with you,
Because you put me first,
Before anyone else.

I didn’t fell in love with you,
Because you had money, home or stuff.
You didn’t have anything.
Neither then not today.
But I still loved you for who you were.
